Responsibilities

• Cut and join various types of metals to create mechanical structures.
• Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and layouts.
• Determine materials requirements and methods for creating structures.
• Create jigs and fixtures required to fabricate weldments.
• Conduct quality inspections of the fabricated structures.
