Overview

The Fitter Fabricator Structural Steel position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and involves reading and interpreting engineer drawings to fabricate steel structures using various power equipment. Candidates must be able to perform welding tests using GMAW and FCAW in different positions.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineer drawings to fabricate steel structures.
• Follow proper procedures and use a variety of power equipment such as welding machines, grinders, Mag drill, and saws safely.
• Interpret weld symbols.
• Take and pass a tacking or welding test using GMAW and FCAW in different positions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineer drawings.
• Experience with welding machines, grinders, Mag drill, and saws.
• Ability to interpret weld symbols is a plus.
• Must be able to take and pass a tacking or welding test.
