Job Description
Overview
The Welder & Fitter position involves performing high-quality TIG and MIG welding on various materials, interpreting engineering drawings, and preparing parts for welding.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
- Interpret weld symbols and engineering drawings to determine specific weld locations, types, and sizes.
- Use grinders, sanders, and clamps to prep surfaces and ensure proper fit-up before welding.
- Grind, buff, and polish welded joints to achieve specific surface finishes.
