Overview

This position is for a Pipefitter at the Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard, located in Buzzards Bay, MA. The role involves the installation, modification, and repair of high-pressure piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and repair high-pressure piping systems.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot various piping systems.
• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of steam heating, sanitary and storm drainage systems.
• Install and repair plumbing fixtures including commodes, lavatories, and water heaters.
• Fabricate, install, modify, repair, and test piping and tubing made from various materials.
• Lay out projects, take measurements, and create templates, jigs, and fixtures.
• Set up system routes and install regulating devices and hangers.
