Welding Shop in New York, NY

Overview

We are hiring an experienced Sign Fabricator and Installer for the fabrication and installation of vinyl graphics, wayfinding, and architectural signage across corporate projects in the NYC metro area. This role requires strong, hands-on experience in both shop fabrication and field installation.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate interior and exterior signage
• Perform welding and metal fabrication as needed
• Operate shop equipment for cutting, routing, assembly, and finishing
• Install interior and exterior signage systems
• Install vinyl graphics on walls, glass, and other substrates
• Mount dimensional letters and signage elements
• Coordinate with internal project managers and field teams

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of professional sign fabrication and installation experience
• Welding experience (MIG/TIG preferred)
• Ability to read shop drawings and sign location plans
• Comfortable working on active construction sites
• OSHA certification (SST preferred)
• Reliable and detail-oriented
