Overview

ARCANA is a small team of designers/builders in Williamsburg Brooklyn, specializing in a variety of projects and producing their own line of furniture products. They are hiring a lead metal & wood fabricator for a full-time position with growth opportunities as the company expands.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and measure accurately.
• Work comfortably with delicate items.
• Maintain organization and structure in work processes.
• Demonstrate extreme attention to detail.
• Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
• Offer and accept feedback constructively.
• Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• OSHA Safety 30Hr or similar certification.
• Experience with Rhino, CAD, or Solidworks.
• Knowledge of electrical and low voltage lighting.
• General onsite familiarity is a plus.
• TIG/MIG welding experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in similar environments or recent graduates from art/design programs with familiarity with shop tools.
