Overview

McNelly Enterprises is seeking an experienced Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations in their steel fabrication shop. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with miscellaneous steel fabrication and be capable of operating shop equipment, supervising workflow, and assisting with fabrication as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead bridge crane safely and efficiently
• Read shop drawings and fabrication details
• Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fitting
• Operate fabrication equipment including shears, saws, ironworkers, drills, and related machinery
• Fabricate railings, gates, stairs, ladders, platforms, and miscellaneous steel components
• Coordinate shop production and material handling
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Assist with loading, unloading, and preparation of materials for field installation

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of steel fabrication experience
• Strong welding and metal fabrication skills
• Experience operating overhead cranes and fabrication machinery
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
• Knowledge of miscellaneous and structural steel fabrication
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
• OSHA 40 credentials required
