Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Laborer / Manufacturer to join our fence manufacturing team. This position is responsible for manufacturing fence products, fulfilling customer and crew orders, operating machinery, and assisting with deliveries and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture fence sections, gates, and posts using wood, chain link, and PVC.
• Operate machinery including drill presses, radial arm saws, table saws, CNC machines, nail guns, and hand tools.
• Operate forklifts, bobcats, and company vehicles safely.
• Read and use tape measures accurately.
• Manufacture customer and crew orders according to production schedules.
• Fill and load orders for walk-in customers and scheduled deliveries.
• Deliver materials to customers and installation crews as needed.
• Load and unload materials for installation crews daily.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including packaging and unpacking materials.
• Lift and move materials weighing 150 lbs or more.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and dust-free shop and inventory area.
• Assist with inventory control and purchasing.
• Perform welding and minor on-site repairs or installations as needed.
• Dispose of old fencing materials properly.
• Coordinate with manufacturing staff to complete orders efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service when assisting customers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Experience in manufacturing.
• Construction experience preferred.
• Valid Class D driver’s license required.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to lift 150 lbs or more.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours per shift.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Punctual, dependable, and consistent attendance.
