Overview

The position is for a granite polisher and stone fabricator/support person, seeking an experienced individual to hone and polish granite edges and faces, while also supporting stone fabrication operations. The role involves manual labor and equipment operation in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Hone and polish granite edges and faces.
• Support overflow production workflow.
• Participate in stone fabrication and handling operations.
• Handle heavy stone material.
• Perform equipment maintenance and washdown.
• Manage slurry (mud) effectively.
• Operate fork-lift and front-end loader.
• Provide immediate support in fabrication tasks.
• Engage in actual stone fabrication tasks.

Requirements

• Experience in honing and polishing granite.
• Preferred experience in raw material fabrication, especially natural stone.
• Ability to manage diverse workflows.
• Skills in machine management and blueprint comprehension.
• Flexibility and curiosity in learning new fabrication processes.
