Overview

BloqLab is a custom fabrication shop in Burbank that builds booths, branded environments, kiosks, and experiential activations for major events. They are seeking a versatile fabricator to help take projects from raw material to finished builds, with a focus on craftsmanship and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Operate the CNC router to cut and shape components.
• Build and assemble millwork and cabinetry components.
• Perform laminations and finish work.
• Conduct general carpentry including framing, trim, fixtures, and custom builds.
• Assemble LED lighting, hardware, and electrical components into builds.
• Build and assemble tradeshow booths and exhibit structures.
• Mount and integrate hardware components.
• Travel to client sites for installs, setup, and teardown.
• Represent BloqLab professionally and communicate clearly with clients and event staff.

Requirements

• 2+ years in carpentry, millwork, cabinetry, or shop fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Comfortable with hand tools, power tools, and shop safety procedures.
• Strong communication skills and a client-ready, professional demeanor.
• Reliable, punctual, adaptable, and able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for on-site installs.
