Overview
PriorityWorkforce is hiring a Light Fixture Fabricator in Aurora, CO, to build custom lighting from raw materials while ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety and design specifications.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, shop plans, and CAD designs.
- Handle various materials including copper, brass, steel, and aluminum.
- Operate saws, shears, CNC machines, rollers, and presses to cut and form metal.
- Grind, sand, polish, and apply finishes to meet high-quality standards.
- Assemble fixtures from raw components to finished products, potentially integrating electrical parts.
- Ensure accuracy, adherence to specifications, and safety standards.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and maintain tools and equipment.
Requirements
- Experience in metal fabrication, skilled trades, or cabinetry preferred.
- Proficiency with power and hand tools, CNC, blueprint reading, and basic math.
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, ability to work independently, and good communication.
- High school diploma or GED usually required; design or industrial design background is beneficial.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Material Handler experience.
