Overview

Westinghouse Electric Company is at the forefront of nuclear energy innovation, seeking a Senior Automatic Welder to perform automatic welding processes at their Monfalcone site. The role involves ensuring quality and safety in welding operations while reporting to the Nuclear Fabrication Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using automatic processes (SAW, ESW) and automatic welding equipment.
• Record essential welding parameters using welding monitoring templates.
• Verify proper preparation of components and surfaces before welding.
• Identify defects in equipment, materials, and welds, and report them to supervisors.
• Position and move parts manually or using hoists and cranes.
• Comply with company procedures (safety, quality, risk and security).

Requirements

• Professional school diploma.
• Previous experience in the role of Automatic Welder (min. 4 years).
• Proficiency in WPS (Welding Process Specifications).
• Availability to work in three shifts: Monday to Friday – Shift 1: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Shift 2: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Night Shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
• Knowledge of Italian and English languages (min. B1 level).
