Overview

FUSE METAL, a division of King Retail Solutions, is a custom metal fabrication job shop specializing in sheet metal fabrication and finishing. They are seeking a skilled TIG/MIG Welder/Fabricator to fabricate metal assemblies and weldments while adhering to company standards and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Cut and join metal parts per detail using typical metal fabrication tools.
• Bend and form metal parts using a press break.
• Read and interpret shop drawings and understand key dimensions, angles, tolerances, and finish requirements.
• Work closely with the project lead to achieve production goals and improve efficiencies.
• Perform work safely while maintaining a clear and hazard-free work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of recent experience in TIG and MIG welding.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow directions.
• Ability to safely operate metal cutting equipment.
• Ability to create structurally and aesthetically sound weldments.
• Proficient at using measurement tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly.

Additional Information

• Typical production schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm.
• Extended hours and Saturdays may be required during busy times.
• Flexibility to work on swing shift 3:30pm-11pm is preferred.
