Overview

The Welder position involves fitting and welding steel and stainless-steel parts using the MIG process. The role requires teamwork and adherence to safety and quality standards in a shop environment located in Lebanon, IN.

Responsibilities

• Use MIG welding equipment to manufacture parts meeting production schedules.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements.
• Supply quality parts from fixtures and jigs.
• Weld stainless and carbon steel.
• Work as part of a team and discuss issues with the Supervisor.
• Operate necessary equipment such as drills, grinders, and sanders.
• Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• 2+ years welding experience with steel.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of various welding techniques, specifically MIG.
• Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques.
• Attention to detail.
