Overview

We are a busy miscellaneous metals fabrication shop based in Sanford, Florida, looking for a Stainless Steel TIG Welder to join our fabrication team. Our team takes pride in crafting high-quality custom metal work for commercial and industrial clients throughout Central Florida.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components to required specifications.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols.
• Set up and maintain welding equipment and torch settings.
• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and fitting prior to welding.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and conformance to standards.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Work collaboratively with fabricators, fitters, and shop lead.

Requirements

• Ability to weld stainless steel in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Basic ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Able to pass a weld test prior to hire.
