Overview

A Southland Holdings company is seeking an experienced Jack and Bore Welder for a large heavy civil project in Cape Coral, FL. The role involves various welding activities and assisting with general boring operations on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and promote safe work practices as determined by the company.
• Plan out work activities with the Operations team to develop best means and methods.
• Ensure the team has proper resources for the timely completion of work.
• Ensure compliance with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Complete written forms and reports as required.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience welding non-pressurized pipe (36" to 60").
• Ability to run Miller Trial Boss stick welding and flux core dual shield MIG.
• Hold an active D1.1 6G certification.
