Overview
The Welder Level 2 plays a crucial role in fabricating, assembling, and welding components used in the oil and gas industry. This position requires a skilled individual with a strong background in welding techniques, precision work, and adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements
- Certification in welding techniques such as AWS or equivalent.
- Proficient in various welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and Stick.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in welding tasks.
- Knowledge of metallurgy, materials, and welding codes and standards relevant to the oil and gas industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in welding is preferred.
- Proven experience of at least 3 years as a Welder Level 2 in an oil and gas machine shop or related industry.
