Overview

FabriFast is a fast-growing American sheet metal fabrication company seeking motivated team members for their manufacturing team in Hartford, WI. The Welder role involves joining and fabricating metal components using various welding techniques while ensuring quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade.
• Select and install torches, torch tips, filler rods, and flux according to welding chart specifications.
• Determine required equipment and welding methods using knowledge of metallurgy and welding techniques.
• Prepare all material surfaces to be welded, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
• Position and secure workpieces using hoists, cranes, or hand tools.
• Perform other tasks as assigned and required.

Requirements

• Safely operate welding equipment and use safe work habits.
• Accurately MIG/TIG/Robotic weld.
• Have good math ability and problem-solving skills.
• Read and interpret blueprints efficiently.
• Have at least 1-2 years' experience with welding.
