Overview

PacifiCorp is seeking a certified Welder to safely and efficiently perform welds on surface coal mining equipment in Point of Rocks, WY. The role emphasizes compliance with regulatory requirements to ensure equipment reliability and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform welds of varying degrees on all types of surface coal mining equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with federal and state regulatory requirements.
• Maintain equipment availability and reliability to meet budgeted goals in safety, cost, productivity, and environmental commitments.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or proof of equivalent.
• Three years journeyman experience.
• Certification in stick and wire welding (SMAW and FCAW).
• Successful completion of a written test and practical test.
• Pass a post-offer, pre-placement physical capacity screening.
