Overview

Trinity Turbine Technology, LP is a privately owned company founded in 2002 that specializes in gas turbine component repair and related services. The Gas Turbine Component Repair Specialist / Welder Trainee role is a full-time, on-site position in Rosharon, TX, focused on assisting with the repair and refurbishment of gas turbine components under supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the repair and refurbishment of gas turbine components.
  • Perform inspection, preparation, and TIG welding tasks under close supervision.
  • Set up workstations and follow repair procedures.
  • Operate and maintain shop equipment.
  • Handle components according to safety and quality standards.
  • Learn and apply welding and repair techniques.
  • Read and interpret work instructions and basic drawings.
  • Complete documentation to support traceability and quality control.
  • Work collaboratively with experienced technicians.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Participate in ongoing training and skill development.

Requirements

  • Foundational mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment in an industrial environment.
  • Interest in developing skills in welding, brazing, and turbine component repair; prior exposure to welding or fabrication is a plus.
  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions, basic drawings, and repair procedures with strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Commitment to safety practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to shop safety guidelines.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn from experienced technicians in a fast-paced, hands-on setting.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to take direction and ask questions when clarification is needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in welding, machining, or related trades is beneficial.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift components as required, and work in a manufacturing environment with varying schedules as needed.
