Overview

Austin Industrial is a leader in self-perform maintenance, construction, and soft craft services for industrial companies in the U.S. The Pipefitter Helper will assist in laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining pipe systems and related equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using various tools.
  • Cut or drill holes in walls to permit passage of pipes.
  • Select specific types and sizes of pipe.
  • Mount pipe hangers and brackets to hold pipe.
  • Assist Pipefitter in installing valves, couplings, and other fittings.
  • Disassemble and remove damaged or worn pipe as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • No minimum education requirements.
  • 1 year of experience in an industrial setting preferred.
  • Valid TWIC Card and Driver’s License.
