Overview

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
- Perform source inspections at facilities.
- Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final product evaluations.
- Perform detailed visual inspections.
- Document defects and non-conformances in the ERP/QMS system.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents.
- Understand basic weld inspection techniques and common welding defects.
- Review inspection records for compliance.
- Maintain inspection and measuring equipment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate with production and engineering.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of assembly/mechanical/receiving inspection experience.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and material specifications.
Additional Information
- Limited travel (5% or less).
- Work in a warehouse/shop floor environment 75% of the day and 25% at a computer.
