Overview

The Assembler position in South Houston involves performing various assembly tasks under the direction of a supervisor, ensuring quality and safety in the manufacturing process across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Plays key role in department metrics including safety, cost, quality, and delivery.
• Verifies conformance of finished goods.
• Ensures quality in every task performed.
• Builds product to design specification utilizing drawings.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Adheres to all company general and safety policies.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to carry out simple and complex oral and written instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and understand English sufficiently.
• Ability to operate hand tools including drills, grinders, heat guns, and rivet guns.
• Ability to comprehend additional training in relation to work duties.
• Ability to cross train and perform many different tasks across multiple departments.
• High level of attentiveness and physical coordination to perform work activities safely and productively.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.
