The BK Assembler Technician Level 2 at Baker Hughes is responsible for assembling complex mechanical components and ensuring high-quality standards through testing and compliance with engineering requirements. Responsibilities

• Assemble complex components as per assembly drawings and bill of material requirements.
• Perform functional testing on assemblies to ensure quality and performance standards.
• Operate test equipment in compliance with engineering and safety standards.
• Run pneumatic tubing and prepare assemblies for operational readiness.
• Apply settings, calibrate, and maintain assembly tools for accurate operations.
• Perform torquing of various components as per specified guidelines.
• Prepare and prep assemblies for shipment ensuring quality compliance.
• Distribute quality notifications (QNs) and support continuous improvement processes.

Requirements

• Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
• Have experience within an assembly or mechanical background.
• Have the ability to work effectively as a team player and collaborate with others.
• Have a proactive, flexible, and self-starter approach to work.
• Have good verbal and written communication skills.
