Overview
The BK Assembler Technician Level 2 at Baker Hughes is responsible for assembling complex mechanical components and ensuring high-quality standards through testing and compliance with engineering requirements. Responsibilities
- Assemble complex components as per assembly drawings and bill of material requirements.
- Perform functional testing on assemblies to ensure quality and performance standards.
- Operate test equipment in compliance with engineering and safety standards.
- Run pneumatic tubing and prepare assemblies for operational readiness.
- Apply settings, calibrate, and maintain assembly tools for accurate operations.
- Perform torquing of various components as per specified guidelines.
- Prepare and prep assemblies for shipment ensuring quality compliance.
- Distribute quality notifications (QNs) and support continuous improvement processes.
Requirements
- Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
- Have experience within an assembly or mechanical background.
- Have the ability to work effectively as a team player and collaborate with others.
- Have a proactive, flexible, and self-starter approach to work.
- Have good verbal and written communication skills.
