Overview
HMT is the global leader in aboveground storage tank solutions, focusing on innovation and customer partnership to optimize tank operations. The NDE Level I technician plays a critical role in ensuring safety and integrity through non-destructive examination techniques.
Responsibilities
- Perform non-destructive examinations using approved methods under supervision.
- Prepare and maintain inspection equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning properly.
- Accurately record and report inspection results, documenting any indications or defects found.
- Follow established NDE procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with senior NDE technicians and engineers to understand inspection requirements.
Requirements
- Certification as an NDE Level I technician in at least one method.
- Basic understanding of non-destructive testing principles and techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and inspection procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
