Overview

Singer Vehicle Design is seeking a Welder (Fabricator) to join their team in Torrance, CA, where they restore and reimagine Porsche 911s. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beautiful cars and a meticulous approach to fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Weld, fabricate, and restore high-end automotive chassis and parts
• Perform all assignments in accordance with EH&S and security policies
• Inspect both raw materials and finished products for conformance to quality specifications
• Assist senior Fabricators with parts and projects
• Interact with Engineering Teams to execute work requests

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Five or more years of related work experience in an automotive (chassis/parts), restoration, manufacturing, and/or assembly environment
• General automotive knowledge and knowledge of fabrication, machining/welding equipment setup, process, and maintenance
• Eager to learn, self-driven, and detail-oriented
• Demonstrated success working with a team towards a common goal
• Bonus points for Certifications and/or technical automotive program graduate
