Overview

NewRuleFX is a specialty effects and prop fabrication company serving the film, television, theater, live events, haunted attractions, and entertainment industries. They are seeking a Junior Fabricator to assist with hands-on fabrication experience in the entertainment industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fabrication and assembly of props and special effects items
• Sand, cut, paint, finish, and package products
• Work with foam, rubber, plastics, wood, resins, and other fabrication materials
• Help prepare and ship customer orders
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop
• Assist senior fabricators with custom projects
• Learn mold-making, casting, scenic finishing, and prop fabrication techniques
• Support production deadlines for film, television, theater, and commercial clients

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with hand tools and basic shop equipment
• Reliability and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day
• Interest in fabrication, props, scenic arts, special effects, theater, film production, cosplay, maker culture, or related creative fields
