Overview

Athens Services is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician Lead for the 3rd shift to ensure the efficient operation of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. This role involves leadership responsibilities within the maintenance department, focusing on troubleshooting, repairs, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance department by reviewing and auditing processes.
• Ensure quality inspections and repairs are performed by maintenance employees.
• Manage parts inventory and organization.
• Promote teamwork and safe working behaviors.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to maintenance employees.
• Ensure maintenance employees have necessary tools and supplies.
• Promote the use of technology to improve shop performance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and/or GED.
• 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email communication.
• Experience in implementing safety programs.
• Leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position.
