Overview
At WET (Design) in Burbank, California, the Cable & Wire Assembler plays a critical role in assembling cables and electrical components for large-scale water features and architectural installations, contributing to iconic projects worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Assemble cables, wire harnesses, and electrical components for large-scale water features and architectural installations.
- Follow work instructions, diagrams, and schematics to ensure accurate and consistent builds.
- Perform basic assembly tasks including cutting, stripping, crimping, and terminating wires.
- Inspect assemblies for quality and functionality, ensuring all work meets WET standards.
- Work closely with production leads, engineers, and team members to troubleshoot and improve builds.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Support additional production tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Experience in cable assembly, electrical assembly, or a related hands-on role OR foundational mechanical/electrical skills with a strong willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow written instructions, diagrams, or basic schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a solid work ethic.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Willingness to be trained and grow your technical skillset.
Additional Information
- Work extended shifts (10–11 hours) and overtime/weekends as project demands require.
