Overview
The Marvin Group is a leading defense contractor involved in the development and manufacturing of military aerospace systems and vehicles. The Electrical Assembler I role involves assembling and testing electrical components while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Understand blueprints, specifications, and job orders and assign work.
- Demonstrate equipment setup and operation, techniques of assembly, wiring, and soldering.
- Ensure customer shipment dates and specifications are met by meeting productivity and quality standards.
- Make recommendations to improve production methods, performance, and quality of product.
- Abide by all safety requirements, regulations, and Company Policies.
- Develop assembly skills with support from the leadership team.
- Perform other related duties as may be required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma and one to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to read technical procedures, drawings, specifications, and governmental regulations.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP software; knowledge of SAP ERP software preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be able to speak/read/write English.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
