Overview
Inversion builds advanced reentry systems to deliver next-generation capabilities from space, aiming to make Earth more accessible by turning Low-Earth Orbit into an on-demand logistics domain. As a Test Technician, you will play a crucial role in the testing and assembly of spacecraft to ensure mission success.
Responsibilities
- Operate high pressure systems for testing purposes.
- Assemble fluid components in-house.
- Fabricate pressure test panels, fluid systems, test fixtures, data acquisition systems and harnessing.
- Review drawings including P&IDs and manufacturing drawings.
- Promote safety and improve procedures with a focus on safety.
- Continuously improve test fixtures, build designs, and overall shop flow.
- Learn new skill sets and adapt to new challenges.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience in aerospace, military, or automotive testing, fabrication, or a related field.
- Professional experience in performing and conducting pressure tests, leak checks, and/or flow tests.
- Experience cleaning, inspecting, and rebuilding fluid system components.
- Professional experience in debugging and conducting basic electrical tests.
- Attention to detail and good craftsmanship.
- Track record of safe work habits.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Willingness to work non-standard shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.
