Overview

We are looking for hands-on, mechanically inclined individuals to join our production team as Production Mechanic Line Setter. In this entry-level role, you’ll be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust filling, labeling, and packing equipment according to product specifications
• Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and repairs during production runs
• Assist with line changeovers, ensuring minimal downtime and accurate configuration
• Conduct routine checks to ensure equipment is running smoothly and safely
• Collaborate with operators and supervisors to resolve equipment-related issues
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and workstations
• Document setup parameters and maintenance activities as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus
• 1–2 years of experience in a production or mechanical role preferred
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and safety procedures
• Ability to read and follow setup instructions, diagrams, or SOPs
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and respond to urgent issues
• Ability to lift and carry up to 10-40 pounds

Additional Information

• This is a full-time position.
• 5 days per week (M-F) from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM at Totowa, NJ
