Overview

Air Transport Components (ATC) is a world-class MRO facility dedicated to supporting aircraft operators and maintenance organizations with high-quality aircraft component repairs and assemblies. The Structures Mechanic will perform inspection, repair, overhaul, and modification of aircraft structural components in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection, repair, overhaul, and modification of aircraft structural components.
  • Disassemble and reassemble structural assemblies.
  • Fabricate and fit replacement parts.
  • Drill, rivet, and use sheet metal tools and equipment.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on components.
  • Accurately document work performed.
  • Collaborate with quality, engineering, and maintenance team members.
  • Assist in troubleshooting structural issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety and environmental guidelines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an aviation maintenance or structures program or A&P certificate is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliable time management.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team.
  • Familiarity with inspection methods, techniques, and equipment.
