Overview

Arconic is seeking a General Mechanic to join our Aluminum Extrusion (AEX) business unit in Chandler, AZ. The company creates breakthrough products that shape industries and solves complex engineering challenges through advanced manufacturing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, install, repair, modify and maintain machines, equipment, structures and facilities.
• Be willing to work a fixed work schedule (8- or 12-hour shifts), including evenings, nights, holidays, and overtime.

Requirements

• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• This position requires access to controlled technology and candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.
• Must satisfactorily pass a comprehensive online and hands-on skills test.
• Must pass a physical examination, drug screen test and background check.
• Minimum of 5 years Journey person experience or equivalent maintaining heavy equipment with knowledge of welding, machine repair, millwright, hydraulics, sheet metal, pipe fitting, and blueprints.
