Motor Controls Inc. is a local industry leader with over 46 years of experience, offering a range of renowned brands and continuously looking to expand its workforce. They are seeking a Combination Welder to join their team and contribute to the assembly and welding of metal forms.

Responsibilities

• Use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms.
• Weld and fabricate products from mechanical drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines.
• Perform quality assurance checks on work.
• Set up workstation and manually TIG or MIG weld per job instructions.
• Produce quality UT passable welds on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Accurately read a tape measure.
• Use overhead and jib cranes as needed.
• Adapt to a demanding, changing work environment.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of welding experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Advanced knowledge of reading drawings and specifications.
• Understanding of geometric tolerancing and dimensions.
• Attention to detail and pride in work.
• Team player willing to perform various tasks.
• Ability to meet production time and quality demands.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
