Overview

Primoris is seeking a Mechanic for their Balch Spring, Texas location to ensure quality mechanical work, manage repairs and maintenance, and provide superior service to exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality of mechanical work performed on machinery and equipment with accurate paperwork.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize repairs and maintenance to manage assigned work volumes and emergency repairs.
• Perform oil changes and routine preventative maintenance on various equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment, performing ultimate repairs on small engines and diesel and gas engines.
• Conduct welding and fabrication.
• Certify equipment for DOT compliance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with Trade School or Mechanical Background.
• DOT Certified.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership and motivational skills.
• Basic knowledge of computers and Windows-based software.
• English required.

Additional Information

• Must be able to lift 100 pounds as needed.
• Standing, walking, turning, stooping, kneeling, crouching, speaking, and hearing are required continuously.
