Overview
MCI is a 46-year-old industry leader in the design, manufacture, and assembly of various electrical and mechanical systems. The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to support business goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facility equipment.
- Use hand and power tools for building and mechanical systems maintenance.
- Repair circuit breakers, HVAC, plumbing, and alarms systems.
- Perform tasks such as repairing a bandsaw and unclogging a sandblasting tool.
- Program PLCs, VFDs, and troubleshoot automation systems.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems and industrial ovens.
- Wiring of rotating and special machines.
- Conduct regular checks on buildings and mechanical systems to ensure proper function.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with CNC equipment, welding robots, and 480v, 3ph power.
- Proficiency in using CMMS/Computerized Maintenance Management System is a bonus.
- Ability to read and understand machine design, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
