At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. Boeing Defense is currently looking for an Air Conditioning Mechanic A in Ridley Park, PA to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, construct, install and rebuild refrigeration and air conditioning equipment for plant facilities.
• Perform work described in other maintenance classifications when incidental but necessary to the accomplishment of the assignment.
• Read and make control adjustments using typical testing equipment.
• Install and adjust valve controls and perform electrical wiring and installation of special electronic controls.
• Repair, maintain, troubleshoot and adjust all existing types of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
• Maintain necessary temperature and service records.
• Maintain required government and Boeing required EPA Universal Refrigerant Technician Certification.
• Visually inspect equipment, power source, wiring, plumbing, electronic components and systems for defects.

Requirements

• Completion of trade or apprenticeship in HVAC.
• 3 or more years of experience supporting or installing HVAC systems, ventilation, and/or chilled water building systems.
• 3 or more years of experience with HVAC applicable codes.
• Must possess a Universal EPA Certification.

Additional Information

• Must be available for 1st or 2nd shift.
• This is an hourly position governed by the UAW Collective Bargaining agreement.
