Overview

RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Tech 1 for the 3rd shift in Middletown, PA. This role involves maintaining machinery and ensuring cleanliness in the facility while adhering to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fluid levels in machinery and monitor fluid inventory.
• Change filters on machinery as needed.
• Operate forklifts and aerial lifts, including pre-operational inspection.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of work areas.
• Maintain proper soap to water ratios in washers using titration kits.
• Prepare waste material containers for shipment per EHS guidelines.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled cleaning of cutting fluid tanks.
• Report defects, damages, and malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as scheduled.
• Use basic hand tools and equipment while working from heights.

Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED and minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• General mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or fluid power systems.
• Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
