Overview

DH Pace Company, Inc., a family-owned business with over $1 billion in annual sales, is seeking a Fleet Mechanic in Peachtree Corners, GA. The company specializes in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of door, docking, and security products.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough and accurate Preventative Maintenance inspections.
• Complete all required preventative maintenance operations including lubrication, fluid changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotation.
• Operate non-CDL vehicles (light-duty) for road tests and shuttle vehicles in and out of the garage.
• Use bench grinder, torch, welder, oil pumps, power washer, brake lathe, and other hand tools as needed.
• Document repairs and parts on work orders completely and accurately.
• Maintain tools and workplaces in a neat and orderly condition.
• Be familiar with all safety provisions associated with vehicle maintenance.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable automotive mechanic experience or equivalent education.
• Able to safely lift 100 pounds.
• Complete set of tools required.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to meet all requirements to operate commercial vehicles.
