API Heat Transfer is a global leader in the design and manufacture of specialty heat exchangers and heat transfer solutions, seeking Aluminum MIG & TIG Welders for first shift at their Racine location. Responsibilities

• Perform work in a safe manner.
• Weld Aluminum Pressure Vessels, Airtight utilizing GMAW Pulse Spray and GTAW welding.
• Adjust parameter settings for different material thickness.
• Learn Robot welding set-up and operations.
• Assemble finished products from blueprints to specifications.
• Produce product within tolerance.
• Maintain tools and equipment for assembly operations.
• Keep work area organized.
• Comply with ISO 9001 Quality standards and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Welding certification from an accredited Technical School preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to provide examples of both GTAW & GMAW proficiency.
• Mechanical aptitude and functional knowledge of hand tools.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and measurements.
