Overview

Trystar is seeking a motivated Welder II for their Faribault, MN facility, playing a critical role in their power solutions team. The position involves performing TIG and MIG welding on various materials while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on aluminum, mild steel, and stainless-steel materials.
• Clean and prepare aluminum surfaces for welding.
• Examine and verify the integrity of materials before welding.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment based on material specifications.
• Inspect finished welds for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
• Work with various welding joint configurations as per project requirements.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols during welding.
• Safely handle and move materials during the welding process.
• Assist in training and mentoring Welder I employees.
• Monitor the manufacturing process and address any inefficiencies.
• Accurately record production data and assist in process improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve machining processes.
• Read and execute processes according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintain and operate hand tools and perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
