Overview

Accelevation is seeking a TIG Welder for the 3rd Shift (M-F 11pm-7:30am) in Miamisburg, OH. The company specializes in designing, manufacturing, and installing infrastructure for advanced technologies, and has experienced significant growth due to its commitment to ownership and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Plans details of work order procedures and gathers required tools and materials.
• Repairs and fabricates various items and equipment using cutting, burning, and welding techniques.
• Monitors the welding, burning, and fitting process to prevent overheating or damage.
• Prepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces.
• Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area.
• Notifies Team Leader of faulty equipment or defective materials.
• Performs other related duties as assigned, including Machine Operation.
• Conducts Quality Control and processes required documentation.
• Performs prep work and grinding.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED; or three to six months related experience and/or training.
• 6 months+ of hands-on experience in welding and fabrication applications.
• Proficient in welding safety, weld filler selection, and processing parameters.
• Familiarity with metallurgy, weld joint analysis, and backing gas applications.
• Strong cognitive and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to lead projects with minimal oversight.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
