The Welder position is crucial in manufacturing high-quality products using advanced welding techniques and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum piping for cryogenic systems.
• Perform dual shield MIG welding on stainless and carbon steel components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Ensure all welds meet strict quality control and safety standards.
• Conduct pre- and post-weld inspections.
• Perform pressure testing of vessels and piping systems.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Perform incoming inspections and reports on equipment.
• Perform mechanical repairs and component replacement on trailers.
• Complete minor 12V and 480V electrical work on trailers and related equipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or electrical issues.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience, preferably in pipe welding with stainless steel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain TIG welding certifications.
• Strong understanding of welding processes, metallurgy, and stainless steel behavior in demanding applications.
• Proficiency with measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Experience with cryogenic systems or high-precision piping assemblies.
• Familiarity with ABS, RSS PLUS stability systems, and Hendrickson air ride suspension systems.
• Knowledge of ASME and AWS codes and standards.
