Overview

Applied Materials is a global leader in materials engineering solutions, providing cutting-edge equipment for semiconductor and display manufacturing. The Welder III position involves advanced welding skills and the ability to train junior welders while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate TIG, MIG, and Oxy Acetylene welding equipment and common shop tools.
  • Train Welder I and Welder II.
  • Read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Troubleshoot drawing issues.
  • Use measuring equipment for precise measurements.
  • Cut stock for complex welded assemblies and frame assemblies.
  • Fabricate miscellaneous welded assemblies and simple frame assemblies.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area and handle tools and equipment properly.

Requirements

  • Advanced welding skills with TIG, MIG, and Oxy Acetylene equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency in using measuring equipment.
  • Experience in fabricating welded assemblies.
  • Physical ability to perform demanding tasks and use PPE.
