Responsibilities

• Conduct all assigned work safely, adhering to safety and environmental policies.
• Maintain a minimum set of tools for disassembling and assembling machine components.
• Attend and complete required technician training classes.
• Prepare parts or materials for welding and perform appropriate welding as needed.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area while seeking improvements in methods and safety.
• Research repair needs, order parts, and document repairs using appropriate software.
• Support team efforts by completing tasks on time while maintaining safety and quality.
• Assist in maintaining facility appearance and shop conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months or less of experience.
• Ability to comprehend written material and communicate effectively.
• Completion of required training curriculum for Service Welder III designation.
• Thorough knowledge of safety requirements for welding and cutting.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to carbon air arc metal removal.
• Post high school trade school is desired.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant dealer software.
• 3g and 4G SMAW & FCAW certifications are highly desired.

Additional Information

• Work is typically performed during regular business hours with occasional night, holiday, and weekend requirements.
• Job has no supervisory responsibility and may involve working independently or as part of a team.
