Overview

A growing metal fabrication company is looking for dependable and motivated Metal Fabrication Welders to join its production team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in producing quality welds, and thrive in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on stairs, railings, and custom metal fabrication projects
• Grind and finish welded components to meet quality standards
• Operate an overhead crane safely and efficiently
• Inspect completed welds and metal surfaces for defects or inconsistencies
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines

Requirements

• Experience with MIG welding techniques
• Familiarity with a variety of welding equipment and fabrication tools
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints
• Basic math and geometry skills
• Strong time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Dependable attendance and a self-motivated, team-oriented attitude

• Pay: Starting at $22/hour (higher pay available based on experience)
