Responsibilities

• Insures that metal components are welded and fabricated according to specifications in preparation for the next phase of production.
• Under supervision, performs welding operations and/or other duties.
• Able to operate various types of machine tools and performs progressive welding operations for the Metal Department.
• Uses hand tools and measuring instruments.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in TIG and MIG (Heliarc) Welding and/or Welding Certification required.
• Must know how to accurately use a Caliper proficiently.
• Must be able to weld delicate pieces and metals as flawlessly as possible.
• Must possess manual dexterity, attention to detail, organizational skills, and numerical accuracy.
• High school diploma and/or 2 years of experience is required.
• Basic Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
• May handle product weighing up to 50 lbs.
