Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions to plan fabrication steps.
• Perform layout and fit-up of parts for custom assemblies.
• Measure, cut, bend, and shape metal components using various fabrication equipment.
• Fit and weld metal parts together using MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding processes.
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all shop safety standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; technical training or certification in welding or metal fabrication preferred.
• Minimum five years of work experience in a fabrication shop.
• Minimum two years of experience in custom metal fabrication and welding.
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding; experience with aluminum and stainless steel is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• This position is onsite at the Fremont, NE location.
