Overview

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to perform assembly tasks for electrical control equipment. The position offers an hourly rate of $21 - $23 and includes various benefits from day one of employment.

Responsibilities

• Wire, assemble, fit and mount sub-assemblies and components in electrical control equipment.
• Perform assembly required for test preparation and final inspection.
• Use established procedures to verify electrical/mechanical integrity of assembled units.
• Assemble panelboards and/or switchboards based on electrical drawings and work instructions.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Use various tools for electrical wiring assembly.
• Maintain expected progress of jobs and communicate issues.
• Receive and put away material; prepare products for shipment.
• Recommend improvements related to quality and safety.
• Cross-train and flex across functions based on business needs.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience in an assembly-related role or completion of a one-year Technical School diploma.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the work location.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Experience with wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Experience using various tools including manual/electric tools.

Additional Information

• Work hours are from 6AM to 2:30PM.
• No relocation benefit is offered.
